Trek Dirty to Me: 65 days until GA-ME and I'm making a list of your questions and ideas!
First off, thank you to everybody who subscribed to the Books Bourbon & Bacon YouTube channel! We hit our 100 subscriber threshold to become eligible for “grown up” features on the platform. You can now find us at www.youtube.com/c/booksbourbonbacon or by clicking here. Our next threshold is 4,000 subscribers, so there is still plenty of time to subscribe if you have not already. There is a button at the bottom of this post that will take you to our YouTube as well, in case you forget between now and then. :)
Now to new business!
I want to know what questions you have for me, other hikers (section hikers and thru-hikers), the folks that feed the millions that hike the Appalachian Trail each year, and the folks who give those same hikers a roof over their heads. I also want to know what topics you would find interesting for the blog, vlog and podcast. Finally, let me know if there is a person I should contact or a, place or thing related to the AT that I should absolutely dig into. Also, this person could be you!
If you (yes you, gorgeous!) are interested in sharing your voice, journey, experience, heartbreak, joys, fears, jokes, etc., and you plan on thru-hiking the AT (or have already done so), plan on joining me along the way, or have a deep connection to the trail or one of the many communities, characters or features along the way, I would like to help bring that story to this project and to others.
You can give me this info in the comments section below, on social media, or by emailing the project (currently just me) at trekdirty@booksbourbonbacon.com.
